These week’s photo challenge at the Daily Post is “State of Mind”.
Take a moment to look at the gentleman in blue in this shot. He is simply leaning against a tree trunk and enjoying the rays of sun that have been so few in the past months here in Finland. I wanted to capture this instant, as it reflects how appreciating the little things make us happy. Even though I have some unresolved things in my life at the moment, I’m still in a good place with myself – Spring is on it’s way and many positive things are happening all around me. While hanging out on the beach I wasn’t wishing that I was on a beach in Bali or that it would be July, instead I felt like – right here, right now – is good.

Beautiful photo, so clear and sharp. The colours too are wonderful. The blue of his coat is so vivid.
What a beautiful place to live, I visited Finland once and was totally captivated by it.
