Thursday Doors

This is a door to my favourite building in Kruununhaka, Helsinki. It was built in 1933. In my eye, the style represents art deco very clearly. This is not an ornamental door at all but there is something about the simplicity that pleases my eye. This is the building with gorgeous balconies.

    1. It’s sad when buildings are left to run down.. We have this whole area of old villas in Helsinki where all the houses are in ruins. It would be a beautiful area, near the sea too.
