These few doors are from the Kruununhaka district from Helsinki. I was planning on taking many doorsy photos there as I work in the area but noticed that there weren’t so many after all. Now I’m on my summer holiday, so let’s do with these. My favourite in the area is the art deco door but these are nice too.
The first three doors are very similar but still different. I like how someone has placed the flowers in front, it makes the buildings very inviting. The first door has what looks like a historical sign indicating a law firm in the building. The door below has a similar sign on the right but it looks more modern.
This door has a strange conical shape.
I think this is a door to someone’s home.
I like the decorations above this door.
A door to the Svenska Klubben (Swedish club).
Just a random door – I like the knocker.
This is the door to the Military Museum.

These are all great, but I love the third one. It’s almost like a sort of hobbit door. 🙂

Ooh yes, we have some more hobbit doors on an island called Suomenlinna here in Finland! I should post those one day 🙌

All of them are great doors, but the 2nd one is a knock-out! Yes, I too like the placement of the plants in front of the door, but the windows are stunning and I love that puffy archway!

Such a lovely touch with the flowers. I hope they find something to replace them in winter ⛄

… unless they have really deep pockets and can afford to replace them every spring!

A very nice and varied collection this week – well done. My fave has to be the cone door because of it’s odd shape 🙂

Hey Suvi 🙂 I’m still looking for a good price for the recommended camera you’re using. How much did you purchase it and where is the best place to get it? Gigantti costs 409€, stated in their online website. Hope you’re doing well! 🙂

Hi Stephanie! I got it as a present actually but hubby bought it at verkkokauppa.com 😀 We’re at sea currently, not much wind, so it’s a great time to reply to comments 🙌
