Here are some random doors from Helsinki. From the tourist area. The first door is from the Klaus K hotel.
This lady just happened to come out of this door on Esplanade as I snapped the photo. We had a bit of a laugh about it.
The best kept secret is behind this door – free public toilets! These are the Helsinki City Hall’s doors.
A door to a cute shop.
Balcony doors and a door to The House of Nobility.
A tourist bus door retreating around the corner.

A nice collection this week. The ground floor door in the 5th shot is my fave.
Nicely done 🙂

Love doors. They tell so much about a place. I have collected posters of doorways in Dublin, Napa Valley and Annapolis. Oh, wait. They were all pub doors. All of them so inviting. Thanks for your lovely post.

Yes and the City Hall has huge toilets too, so no need to queue either 😂

Love the bookshop door!
Also, they may seem like a silly questions, but are public toilets in Helsinki not always free? I’ve never been to Finland, so was just curious.

Well there’s some that cost one dollar to enter but usually they are free. Which also means quite dirty as there’s no-one making sure the restrooms are in respectable condition… 😔

I have stayed at the Klaus K, it’s great. A local introduced me to the toilets at City Hall. There is often a good exhibition there as well.

That’s true, it’s a good idea to have a look at the exhibit there while popping in to use the restrooms ☺
