I was not supposed to take part in any more challenges but Cee’s Share Your World questions were so fun that I couldn’t resist!
If you could have an endless supply of any food, what would you get?
OMG! Do I have to pick just one? Probably sushi. I adore sushi, I could eat it every single day. In Finland sushi is very expensive, so an endless supply would suit me just fine.
What is the worst thing you ate this last recently?
I don’t really like meat very much but have nevertheless had three different Chinese dishes lately with beef/pork. None of them were very good. The meat was chewy and leatherly if you know what I mean. Gross. Another horrible meal was on our trip to Estonia. It sounded good on the menu – a salad with goat’s cheese and beetroot. But it was absolutely awful – beetroot has to be nicely done for me to love it, not just thrown on a plate. I never choose to eat things I don’t like, but sometimes this happens!
You are comfortable doing nothing? For long stretches of time?
Not really. How can you do nothing except when sleeping? If I go lay on the sofa, then I read. I’m quite an active person as those who follow my blog will know, haha. But if nothing means reading or using the computer, then no problem. Hours can and will easily pass by.
List of Jobs You Think You Might Enjoy: Even if you aren’t thinking about a career change, it can be fun to think of other jobs you might enjoy.
I’m actually looking into changing careers at the moment. The passion I used to feel for my job is long gone unfortunately. I would still love to work for a good cause. And with people preferably. Travel would also be very nice. Let me run my imagination wild for this one:
- social media coordinator for something to do with travel/tourism
- event planner
- a coordinator for a non-profit project
- B & B owner (wouldn’t want to do any cooking or cleaning though, LOL!! so emphasize the word OWNER)
- astronaut (seen any job openings lately? – unfortunately I would be terribly underqualified and unfit in all aspects!)
- traveller who does odd jobs here and there and travels the world while at it
- private investigator
- housewife – I was a stay at home mom for six years and loved it! Now that the kids are older, I would still find lots to do.
- occupational therapist for children
Surprisingly, I have realized that I would not want to be a fulltime professional travel blogger! It seems to be everyone’s dream job these days.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Apart from the obvious, i.e. family and health, I am grateful for the fun times I had last week. You can see for yourself what I’m talking about here. I look forward to my coming up extempore holiday on Monday when I hope to spend some time with my son, a concert with hubby and meeting Stephanie from Malaysian in Europe again!
