Check out my answers to Cee’s Share Your World link-up to find out if I’d rather live in a warm or cold climate (although if you know me at all, you will guess the answer) and take part with your own post.
Would you rather live where it is always hot or always cold?
Hahaaa – obviously where it is always hot! I lived in Malaysia when I was a kid and didn’t mind the absence of seasons at all. I could never live somewhere where it was always cold, even living in Finland where the summer is short is sometimes quite a stretch. I live for the summer months!
Do you prefer long hair or short hair for yourself?
I have never had short hair! I have no interest in cutting my hair short either. Right now I have a long bob.

What is your favorite month of the year?
It’s difficult to pick just one favourite. I love May because of the promise of summer. I also love July because that’s the main summer month in Finland. I also love December because of Christmas. The most boring month is January, I go out of my way to try to make it bearable with meet-ups with friends, hotel stays and so on.
What is the easiest way for your to learn something new? By reading, by seeing and doing, in a classroom?
By doing. If reading in a classroom, I would find it hard to concentrate. If I were only looking at someone else doing something, I don’t think it would be as effective as doing it myself.
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful that it only started raining after I’d been on a power walk with a friend last week. We would’ve been soaked otherwise. I’m also grateful for a gorgeous dinner with colleagues at one of my fave restaurants in Helsinki, Toscanini (their pastas are divine and I’m a fan of the decor). This week I’m looking forward to having dinner with my mom (maybe at the new dim sum place!).
These photos are from London. I thought it quite bizarre how everyone wanted to stand OUTSIDE the pubs having a pint. You don’t see that in Finland!

It’s good to catch up with your blog again. You certainly know how to enjoy life. In this regard you remind me of me, except with less eating out over here, which I sometimes regret but at the same time don’t wish to pay the exaggerate prices. But most of all I’m impressed with the food that you make yourself and how superb you make it all look. Wishing you a most excellent summer ahead!

Awww thanks so much for your lovely comment! I must say the price of eating out over here is terrible but lunch prices are more affordable thank goodness. Wishing you an awesome summer too ❤️❤️

Possibly they are smokers, hence standing outside. Also London pubs tend to be very cramped inside.

Well the weird thing about this was that the pubs were empty inside, so they couldn’t have all been smokers 🤔
