Summer is on! Too bad it’s cold and windy in Finland. But I do love the light nights nevertheless. Here’s this week’s answers to Cee’s Share Your World – do take part in the fun with your own post.
For your main meal do you prefer sweet and sour, hot and spicy, spicy and sweet, bitter, salty, bland or other?
I prefer hot and spicy or salty I guess. I love all kinds of Asian food – I love to have Vietnamese or sushi for lunch.
Where do you hide junk when people come over?
I try to stuff everything in the hallway closet. I also have bits and pieces in the kitchen cabinets. When we moved, we got rid of a lot of stuff but new things accumulate fast!
What daily habit would you like to introduce to your life?
I would love to do morning yoga stretches. I never do though! Imagine doing yoga on the rocks by the sea as the morning sun shines?
If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?
I absolutely hate clowns, so I wouldn’t be a clown for sure. There’s something spooky about them. Does anyone agree? I often get funny looks when I say I hate clowns. With the skills I have now, I doubt anyone would welcome me into a circus. But if I had the ability to do anything, then I’d be a trapeze artist!
Optional Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week?
The fact that it was my last work week for four weeks, LOL. I’m on holiday, yay!
What are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m looking forward to finally going sailing and discovering new places – hopefully both in Finland and Estonia.
These photos are from Helsinki’s Allas Sea Pool. There’s a huge terrace and outdoor pools open all year round. The location is very good, as it’s right near the Market Square.
You can find a heated pool and a seawater pool there. Also a pool for children. After your swim, you can visit the restaurant or cafe for a meal or perhaps enjoy the terrace view with drinks. It’s a fun way to experience Helsinki!

Enjoyed reading your answers! I also prefer hot and spicy or salty 100% of the time, all year round hehe. The pools and the location look so beautiful. Thank god it’s heated, can’t imagine the pool warming from sun in Finland hehe. Happy summer holiday, Suvi!
