As you know, I was in Copenhagen last weekend visiting a Danish friend, Lene. It was lovely, albeit extremely cold! Where did the summer go?
Amazingly it’s Midsummer again! Midsummer is quite a big thing in Finland – most people leave the cities and head for the countryside. Helsinki resembles the world in Walking Dead – not a soul in sight. This year Spring was awfully cold in Finland but here’s hoping the Midsummer weekend gives us a surprise.
Two weeks have flown by so fast once again. I guess I’m not capable of writing a weekly post like this anymore! My highlights have been visiting Tallinn and exploring new restaurants.

I don’t know how I managed to miss the fact that a new restaurant was opening in Espoo! And a seaside one at that. I knew I had to go visit it immediately, so I called my mom and off we went to Matinkylä.
