Yesterday I made my way to the Roihuvuori neighbourhood to catch a glimpse of the evanescent cherry blossoms at the Kirsikkapuisto (Cherry Park). There’s not many places to see sakura in Helsinki and if you are not quick to go when the flowers have bloomed, you might miss the whole event!
Last summer our last stop on our three week sailing trip was an island in Estonia called Naissaar. The island used to be a military base, ensuring security for whoever happened to be the ruler on Estonian land since the 1730s.

Looking back at last summer’s photos, I can hardly believe how beautiful everything was.
